The Center presents Brave Spaces Parents : Support Group for Parents of Gender-Expansive Youth Between 8-15

Brave Spaces Parents is a support group for adult parents and family members of transgender, non-binary and gender-expansive tweens and young teens. The mission of this group is to create a safe/brave peer community where adults can support each other and find helpful tools on their parenting journey. In order to keep conversations congruent, this group is really intended for parents with kids between 8-15 years old. This space is body-positive, LGBTQIA friendly/supportive and welcoming to people of all genders and gender expressions. Sexism, racism, homophobia and gender policing will not be tolerated. This group will meet twice a month on Thursday mornings at 11am. Hosted by local parent, Jasper Price.
