Beethoven & Friends

The Desert Winds Freedom Band presents their Spring Concert, Beethoven & Friends on Friday, May 3, 2024 from 2–4 pm.

Beethoven and Friends’ will follow last season’s successful format featuring outstanding band member soloists, scholarship winners, smaller ensembles, as well as the full symphonic band. It was a big hit! This year we will feature Andy Nelson on clarinet, and Matthew Richards on trumpet. Scholarship winners and ensembles are yet to be announced, but the Symphonic Band will be performing Beethoven’s Overture to “Egmont”. Please come and support all of our musicians for the exciting finale to our 22nd season.
