9th Annual Palm Springs Chalk Art Festival

The 9th Annual 2019 Palm Springs Sunup Rotary Chalk Art Festival returns to Downtown Palm Springs, across from the Palm Springs Art Museum, on Museum Way. Chalk Art returns to Palm Springs again with top professional and student artists creating masterpieces using chalk and sidewalks as their media. Besides the artists’ work on the sidewalks, there will be live music, hands-on art activities for children and much more. Created by Palm Springs Sun-Up Rotary, the annual Chalk Art Festival has raised over $20,000 to benefit arts education in Palm Springs Unified School District. Each year hundreds gather to enjoy the innovative instant art created within hours for the event. “Every year both the professional and student artists up the level of expertise and inspire the audience,” says Kristin Bloomer, President of Palm Springs Sun-Up Rotary.
