The Palm Springs Library presents 50 Years of Fabulous - A Film Screening on December 1, 2022 at the Welwood Murray Library at 6 pm.
This film recounts the rich history of the Imperial Council, the oldest LGBT charity organization in the world. Founded in San Francisco by renown activist, drag queen and performer Jose Sarria, the Council has helped shape LGBT life and social history in San Francisco and beyond throughout the last five decades.
The film screening with a discussion following will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the Welwood Murray Memorial Library in the Cornelia White Community Room. Everyone is welcome but seating is limited.
