2023 Desert Open Studios Tour

Desert Open Studios is offering self-guided art-tours that span the Coachella Valley uniting 150 artists on March18–19, & March 25–26, 2023. The studios are open 10 am to 4 pm on Saturdays and 12–4 pm on Sundays.

Our coming Desert Open Studios event will showcase artists in their studios throughout the Coachella Valley. The free, self-guided, studio tour, open to the general public, invites art lovers into artists’ workspace over two weekends, and is a unique opportunity to meet and talk with individual artists and to buy art directly from them.

In addition to the weekend events, we are organizing two curated exhibitions of work drawn from our participating artists and open to the general public: the first event will be at intersect Palm Springs Art & Design Fair, February 9 - 12, 2023, held at the Palm Springs Convention Center; and our second exhibition will be at the Coachella Valley Art Center, Indio from March 17 - 31, 2023. This year our Tour runs concurrently with Desert X 2023, and we invite visitors to Desert X to meet local artists who have opened their studios.
