Event Details
The Organized Neighborhoods of Palm Springs (One PS) invite you to their 14th Annual Picnic & Community Expo on March 25, 2023. This event will take place in Ruth Hardy Park from 11 am to 2 pm.
The first ONE-PS Picnic & Community Expo (formerly PSNIC Picnic) was held in 2008 when about 400 residents attended to enjoy a complimentary BBQ lunch and view a handful of booths.

The picnic has been growing annually, and has become a favorite Citywide Neighborhood Event. Each year it becomes the largest ever: over 1100 residents enjoy the lunch, DJ entertainment, Pooch Parade, and exhibits at more than 50 booths. Exhibitors range from the Desert Water Agency to the Palm Springs Art Museum. The City of Palm Springs always has a great showing with the Police Department, Fire Department, Search and Rescue teams, as well as the CERT Program. Neighborhoods get involved with booths and prizes.
Highlights include:
- Free picnic lunch from local restaurants
- Talking with local neighborhoods, agencies, and businesses
- Hoops contest for school age youth
- View from the ReMax Balloon (weather permitting).
- Dog contest for the many dogs in our neighborhoods. Enter your cutie! Prizes given.
- Live performances by Parks and Recreation performers
- First for 2023, cash prize for best Neighborhood booth!
