The Palm Springs Cultural Center has added Life is a Cabaret with Les Michaels to its weekly Come On Up Series in the VIP Lounge on Wednesdays.
Singers sign up begins at 4:45 PM, please bring your sheet music!
Opening night pianist is David Ring with Chip Prince on the following dates.
Les Michaels considers his first title is that of singer, having had 4 years of private voice training and coaching. But seeing the lack of venues and opportunities for other singers, he has searched out anywhere with a piano and approached the owners and management to give him a chance and introduce audiences to local live performances by talented singers and pianist. So he took on promoting and producing, always with the goal of making it entertaining and economical for audiences, with good food, and reasonable prices, so far it has been ever-changing for the better and has sparked many locations to follow his lead, which is a good thing for everyone.
