Wedding Warriors, Riverside County’s top networking group for wedding, special event, and service industry professionals, was created in 2010 by Gregory Goodman, owner of My Little Flower Shop in Palm Springs to promote the Coachella Valley as a destination for high-end weddings, private parties and corporate events, and to provide a network of resources to destination brides and grooms with one-stop access to Coachella Valley wedding vendors.
As the 21st century rolled along, the old style of networking was falling away, and in its place people were developing meaningful working relationships rather than idly passing around business cards. Gregory saw that the community of Coachella valley wedding vendors they were building needed to be nurtured, encouraged and grown, and Wedding Warriors was born. Since then WW mixers have drawn thousands of people: vendors and brides alike to get to know the dynamic membership of wedding and event professionals. Members participate in monthly mixers, help with group contests like 2012’s “Dream Wedding” and “Teenage Dream Quinceanera,” and attend industry lectures and continuing education events.
