John Taylor is back anchoring our morning show Monday through Friday 6-10 AM with a rotating cast of guests from the LGBTQ+ community. Program Director Chris Shebel hosts afternoons. We promote the positive aspects of living in the Coachella Valley, including tourism and events happening in the valley.
The target demographic is Adults 30+ with a focus on gay men and lesbians who make up nearly 9% of the Coachella Valley’s full-time population. But the station’s music and information are accessible to all!

With an eight-year track record of being the top destination for LGBTQ+ locals and visitors alike, Gay Desert Guide has amassed an online and social media presence that had site traffic of a million +page views pre-pandemic. Site visitors come from around the world, concentrating on Greater Palm Springs, Los Angeles, and the Drive/Fly markets.
We have big plans for the future — opening up our airwaves and our #ILoveGayPalmSprings podcast platform to the community to give voice to our LGBTQ+ communities.
