SIX COOLING CENTER LOCATIONS AVAILABLE FOR PALM SPRINGS RESIDENTS
 
As temperatures heat up in the Coachella Valley, the City of Palm Springs would like to alert residents that the LGBT Community is now the sixth cooling center available for anyone in Palm Springs looking to beat the heat. 
Here is the full list of convenient cooling center locations: 
 
·Demuth Community Center, 3601 E. Mesquite Avenue
Monday – Thursday, 7 am – 9 pm, Friday, 7 am – 8 pm, Saturday, 7 am – 1 pm
 
·LGBT Community Center, 1301 N. Palm Canyon Drive, 3rd Floor
Monday – Friday, 8:30 am- 4:30 pm
 
·Palm Springs Public Library, 300 S. Sunrise Way
Monday 10 am – 6 pm, Tuesday & Wednesday, 10 am – 8 pm, Thursday, 10 am – 6 pm, Friday & Saturday, 10 am – 5 pm
 
·Welwood Murray Memorial Public Library, 100 S. Palm Canyon Drive
Daily, 9 am – 9 pm
 
·James O. Jessie Desert Highland Unity Center, 480 Tramview Road
Monday – Friday, 9 am – 6 pm
