The newest art gallery in the Palm Springs Design District.
The gallery features work by local artists and a selection of artists from Provincetown, Massachusetts where Woody Shimko had a gallery for many years. The work is a mix of contemporary, modern and realistic paintings and photographs, some of which recalls the modernism of Palm Springs. Paintings, sculptures and ceramic art are the featured work of the gallery. Also featured are tables designed and built by Woody Shimko composed of industrial materials with antique Japanese shoji screens. Mr. Shimko, whose design work covers businesses from New York to Tokyo, has created a space that is innovative and inviting. Come visit, come enjoy and see what the art world has to offer Palm Springs and the neighboring area of Las Palmas.
How appropriate that the gallery’s logo says, “Palm Springs Just Got Cooler.”
