Love and Harmony are our Goals …
Urban Yoga Center is the only studio that offers you authentic Yoga, a variety of Meditation avenues, a professional and very experienced staff, and opportunities to gather for kirtan. We participate in local seva (service opportunities), bring music, visiting teachers and bands from all over the world, as well as interesting and fabulous workshops with our favorite local specialists. Our teachers also work privately for individuals, wedding parties and corporate groups. Many of the Instructors also teach at the local hotels and spas; The Parker, The Viceroy, Two Bunch Palms and We Care Spa. Founder Kristin Olson has been teaching and working with Hollywood luminaries and sports figures for decades.
Opened in September 2001, Urban Yoga Center Palm Springs is the longest running yoga studio in the Coachella Valley. Recently Urban Yoga Center was voted 2014 Best Yoga Studio in Palm Springs. We are open 7 days a week, and offer 30 classes a week, all year round. UYC classes run from 60 minutes for a refreshing tune up, to 75 minutes for a good experience with meditation and deepening postures, to 90 minutes for Healing and thorough stretching, strengthening and heart filling yoga. UYC is true to its name, we practice the Art of Yoga in the modern Urban environment: Light Hearted, dedicated, educated, enthusiastic, passionate, humorous! Most Experienced Teachers. We offer the most authentic and sacred YOGA experience, with many teachers on staff that have over ten years of teaching experience. Urban Yoga honors the lineage of the idea that Yoga is more than just the physical postures. We are sensitive to the emotions, ethics and privacy of our students.
