The past several months have been particularly tough for the institution. Its chairman, Steve Maloney, died in March, followed by the resignation of the previous CEO and executive director, Louis Grachos, and a board shakeup that saw philanthropist Harold Matzner abdicate his longtime executive vice chairmanship.
