Palm Springs residents can access information about the upcoming November 3, 2020 election, including details about City Council candidates, campaign disclosure reports, information about the City’s five-district voting system, and much more by visiting VotePalmSprings.com.

Voters can also find an online map allowing them to locate their Council district along with information about Voter Assistance Centers, how to request a vote-by-mail ballot, and a link to register to vote. The deadline to register to vote is Monday, October 19, 2020.

Riverside County residents will have two voting options for the November 3, 2020, election:

VOTE BY MAIL:

  • Beginning today, the Registrar of Voters will mail vote-by-mail ballots with prepaid postage return envelopes to every registered voter.
  • Voters can verify their registration at https://voterstatus.sos.ca.gov/ or register to vote https://registertovote.ca.gov/
  • Also beginning today, voters can drop off their ballot at the following locations:
    • Palm Springs City Hall, 3200 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way, Monday through Thursday,
      8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
    • Demuth Community Center, 3601 E. Mesquite Ave., Monday through Friday, 10
      a.m. – 3 p.m.

IN-PERSON VOTING
If necessary, residents may utilize any in-person Voter Assistance Center within Riverside County. The Registrar of Voters recommends that voters only go to in-person voting locations if essential due to COVID-19 public health and safety concerns. Below are the Voter Assistance Centers within the City of Palm Springs:

  • Demuth Community Center, Multi-Purpose Room
    3601 E. Mesquite Avenue
    October 31 – November 2, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    November 3 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • James O. Jessie Desert Highland Unity Center, Gymnasium
    480 W. Tramview Road
    October 31 – November 2, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    November 3 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Palm Springs Public Library, Learning Center
    300 S. Sunrise Way
    October 31 – November 2, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    November 3 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
